Bartender

General Information

Winemaking is often considered as an art form. Manipulating fresh grapes into wines of different characteristics requires a vest amount of knowledge as well as the artful touch. A successful Bartender has a similar role to fill. Besides the basic knowledge of wines and liquors, a good bartender should be well versed with the popular cocktails as well as creating something new and unique on occasions.

To achieve these objectives, we focused our certification on the fundamental knowledge of bartending. One must have a firm grasp of the knowledge besides a good experience in order to succeed. The test covers the most common cocktails made with liquors like gin, vodka, rum, and tequila. We also suggest that you have some understanding on the non-alcoholic beverages, especially coffee, because many cocktails are made with coffee flavored liquor. The exam will also include how to run a bar, the proper hygiene and related drinking etiquettes.

We are confident that the Lausanne Bartending Certificate will become the authority in the global business of hospitality.
